A tree planting program in Sunday’s school by CENS

2016.02.07 A tree planting program was organized in Keerthi sri Thejowanaramay by Mulatiyana A.G Mr Susantha Atthanayaka ,R.K.P Champika Kumuduni(Puja Bumi development officer ). Thejowanaramay incumbent Ven Wahihene sarananada There,Keerthipura Grama Niladari and Mr Dammika Participated as guests.

There were hundred and fifty (150) student in the Sunday’s school .Ven Wekadawal Rahula there conducted a lecture regarding Biodiversity of Sri Lanka. Ms philipot Rozenn (A voluntary from France ) spoke about development and environment crisis in France .

After the awareness program, CENS’s members and students planted indigenous plant varieties around the temple . .
