Movement for repression chronic Kidney Disease

Inter University Bhikkhu Federation,University Of Rajarata ,Rules of Law Committee of Bar Association Sri Lanka held a Public meeting in Anuradahapura against Chronic Kidney Diseases in Sri Lanka .This event organized by Movement for repression chronic Kidney Disease . CKDu is largely concentrated in Sri lanka, but hospitals remain understaffed to deal with the problem. Hospitals with kidney treatment units are experiencing a shortage of specialised doctors and nursing staff.

Anuradhapura is the worst affected. Over the past 15 years, 145 deaths and 18,281 cases of CKDu have been reported from the district. Polonnaruwa reports 4,607 cases. Cases have also been reported from Ampara, Trincomalee, Kurunegala, Vavuniya and parts of the Eastern, Uva and Northern provinces.

Government and NGO interpretations are not enough to prevent CKD problem in Sri Lanka .Some NGOs are using this issue make an fundraising program to take money from other country . Unfortunately They have miss used money without spending for prevent CKD problem in Sri Lanka.
